Link bench by John Behringer. John Behringer graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York. He designed the bench in the early 1960’s. This will later become part of the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York. John Behringer is also a researcher, he created in 1965 a workshop to work on the design conception through visual thinking. From 1975, he taught in the industrial design department of the Rhode Island School of Design as well as at the Parsons School of Design while pursuing his personal research.
